About The Club

The Aikido Club has been active as a formal student organization at the University of South Florida since 1975. We provide instruction in Aikido, a traditional Japanese martial art that encourages conflict resolution and non-competitiveness.

Instruction is available to both USF students and non-students. We are affiliated with the Aikido Schools of Ueshiba under The JihonJuku Academy of Warrior Spirit. Our ranks are recognized by the Aikido World Headquarters in Tokyo, Japan. Classes are open to anyone, so you are welcome to stop by, watch, or join in!

We meet year-round at the Tampa Campus REC facility (Gym) Room 101. Please view our Calendar for our training schedule and other events.
