Post Summer Training
Hello everyone,

So I saw you all out on the grass today and it gave me smile. I came out to one class a month or so back but really never got around to coming back; then finals' week hit and we all know how that goes!

So looks like a normal schedule will resume on the 17th of May and I plan on starting the training of something I have been telling myself I will do for a while now!

I am not going to lie, I did feel a little intimated last time I attended, however I presume at the beginning of the semester things may be a little slower passed (and some of you wont be about to test).

Anyways, I will see you all again in a few weeks. If you have any pointers as to prepare for this, please let me know!

Have a good break,

Steven

Thanks for posting!

Regarding the pace of the class, even if it doesn't slow down, you will always have somebody to work with who will work with you at an appropriate speed that isn't too intimidating.

We look forward to having you on the mat!

Most all of us felt the way you do now when we first started. The most important thing is to take a step, then another step and keep going. Before too long, you've moved a bit down the path with others behind you. As Meredith said, everyone will be willing to work with you at whatever pace you're comfortable with.

The good news is.. it's ok to suck at Aikido, I do it all the time. :) You won't get better by not doing it, and sometimes life does get in the way. Hope to see you on the mat soon. We'll be here.

John
