If anyone has a First Aid and/or CPR/AED Certification that will not expire before May, please bring it to class on Monday so that I can make photocopies.

We need at least 2 CPR/AED and 2 First Aid.

The SCC normally offers at least one of each class at the beginning of each semester for Sports Clubs who need their certifications, but unfortunately the time/location for these classes was never sent out, so we missed them. We need to get these certifications in order to remain in good standing with the university and keep our practice space, etc. The only classes USF is currently offering are paid classes ($60 for both, or $35 for First Aid, $48 for AED/CPR). The classes are

Wed. Feb. 10th Adult CPR & AED 5:30pm to 9:30pm
Thur. Feb. 11th First Aid 5:30pm to 8:30pm.

If there are no objections, I suggest maybe using club funds to get at least 2 (or 4) of our members certified... (covering at least half the cost?)... If at least six of you are interested, but these dates/times don't work well for you, we can call and schedule a private class. I don't know if we'll be able to get a discount, but it might be beneficial if we could get a large majority of our dojo certified for at least one or the other.

Please let me know what you think ASAP.

Think it a good use of funds, and am interested, and the class times work for me.
(except that I would miss class, which is sad, but Im learning something, which is good.)

i'd like too but i think i might be outta town on work. i have expired CPR/AED, first aid, EMT certs

The Wednesday/Thursday CPR/First Aid sessions were both canceled, so now the only day available is an 8-hour stretch this Saturday Feb 13, 9a-5p.

PLEASE let me know if you can make it! We need at least 2 people certified, I'm hoping for 3 to 4 people, but it would be awesome if we could get more!

You'll have to front the $25 for the class up front with a credit card payment, but print the receipt and bring it to me and I'll reimburse you.
